Visiting Fellowship Programme

The Visiting Fellowship Programme offers an opportunity for shorter research stays at the Centre (normally between one and three months) to both early career and established researchers who continue to receive their salary from their home institutions.

Visiting Fellows receive a personal monthly grant to cover additional costs incurred during the Fellowship, and an allowance for family members accompanying the Fellows to Frankfurt. Travel costs to and from Frankfurt are also covered.

The Fellows and the Centre enjoy the inviting research facilities of the Goethe University's Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities, Bad Homburg (Forschungskolleg Humannwissenschaften). Located in a scenic park, the Institute offers first-rate office spaces, library services and accommodation, which Fellows can rent, as well as a stimulating and interdisciplinary research environment for scholarship in all fields of the social sciences and the humanities.

To apply for a visiting fellowship with the Centre, please submit your CV and a writing-sample (no longer than 10000 words). Applicants should hold a PhD in political philosophy or in a related subject area.
